HOW IT STARTED

MATILDA'S STORY

I grew up in Sweden, where simplicity has always shaped the way I dress. I've always loved pieces that feel considered rather than trend-driven — quality staples you can wear again and again, that work together and make getting dressed feel easy.

Years later, I moved to Australia and found a new home in Bondi, where the ocean quickly became part of my everyday life.

I've always been active, from pilates and running to skiing and ocean swims, but I've cared just as much about style. And when it came to jewellery, I kept running into the same problem.

The pieces I loved often needed to be taken off. The pieces that could handle water and everyday life rarely had the refined style I was looking for.

So I created what I couldn't find.

Salty Clouds brings those two worlds together: Scandinavian-inspired design with the durability to actually live in. Refined, versatile pieces designed to work with your wardrobe, stay on through your day and make getting dressed that little bit easier.

After years of testing and refining, Salty Clouds was born.

Our pieces are created with great attention to every detail. From materials and construction to polishing and stone setting, we're continually raising our standards to create jewellery that looks beautiful and stands up to everyday wear.

We partner with trusted manufacturers who share our commitment to quality and responsible production, using durable materials and lower-impact processes wherever possible.

We believe one of the simplest ways to shop more consciously is to buy pieces you'll actually wear — and keep wearing.

That's why we focus on durable materials, timeless designs and quality that lasts beyond a season.

Our signature Salty Clouds boxes are made entirely from recycled paper, and every order is shipped in HeapsGood padded mailers made from 99.9% post-consumer waste, making our packaging completely plastic-free.

We know sustainability is an ongoing journey, and we'll continue looking for better ways to reduce our impact as Salty Clouds grows.
